Hooray, The Seeker Returns!!!

Legend Of The Seeker has returned to TV screens for a second season and although the first evil The Seeker fought is long since dead.  A new evil is threatening the land, an evil that could destroy the world.  The Keeper of the Underworld wants out.  It’s like Xena lite but I’m only posting this to raise awareness of this show since it now stars none other than Charisma Carpenter.

Although her character may not make it through the entirity of episode one of season two.  However, now the new enemy is The Keeper who’s to say that anyone who dies is now gone forever in the mythos of The Seeker.

The first episode of season two follows The Seeker and his companions as villagers celebrate his victory over the evil Lord Darken Rahl but the celebrations are cut short as a vicious creature interrupts proceedings and threatens the lives of those at the banquet.  The Seeker chases off the creature but along with his Wizard friend, discovers that the creature came from the underworld, an assassin of The Keeper. It turns out, in The Seeker’s eagerness to dispatch Darken Rahl, the magics used had opened a rift and allowed a larger evil to encroach on the lands.

A power struggle has begun for the Rahl throne and the Mord Sith no longer have a master.  There are more dangers in the lands now and it looks like the Seeker has his work cut out for him this season, trying to bring peace to the lands and keeping Death itself at bay.
